The Remote Launch Operations Building (RLOB) is designed to provide secure and efficient remote access to systems located in the KTF Launch Operations Building (LOB). The RLOB provides options for launch execution to accommodate overflow and training personnel without impacting LOB capacity limits. Below are the key features and functionalities of the RLOB:

Mobile Trailer Configuration

  • Mobile Trailers
The RLOB consists of a set of three mobile trailers which facilitate secure remote operations.
  • Safety Distance
The RLOB allows for a safe distance during missions where the risks associated with the LOB exceed acceptable safety limits.

Operational Capabilities

  • KVMoIP Systems
Employs both classified and unclassified KVMoIP systems for full control of launch operations, enabling seamless management of mission activities from a safe distance.
  • Compunetix Communication Panels
Configurable Compunetix communication panels similar to those in the LOB, equipped with built-in phone capabilities for effective communication.
  • Mission Video Distribution System
Full deployment of the Mission Video Distribution System to support real-time video monitoring and analysis.
  • First Stage Fireset Control
Integrated control systems for managing first stage fireset operations during launches.
  • Secure Communication Support
Support for vIPer Secure Phones to ensure secure communication during mission operations.
